KSDDS conference organizers invite medical students and residents to showcase posters

featuring their completed or ongoing professional endeavors, with a particular emphasis. These

posters will be on display throughout the conference and can cover a wide array of

dermatology topics.

Poster presentations may encompass dermatology education, research, innovation, or case studies. Special consideration will be given to presentations addressing the following themes:

• Dermatology Education
• Innovative approaches to dermatology
• Dermatology research
• Dermatology case-studies
  

Eligibility Requirements:

• Current medical student or dermatology resident
• Submission of an abstract
• Submission of a digital copy of the poster in PowerPoint format
• All presenters must register for the event as attendees.

Poster Presentation Guidelines:

• Abstracts and PowerPoint posters can be submitted via the provided form by September 25, 2024.
• The Lead Presenter must be available to meet with poster presentation judges and answer questions during the conference on Saturday, October 12, 2024.
• Acknowledgment of receipt of submissions will be emailed to the lead presenter upon completion of the submission. Letters of acceptance will be sent after the peer review process.
• Presenters are prohibited from using poster presentations for marketing purposes.
• Alongside the printed poster, presenters are encouraged to bring handouts and business cards to facilitate networking.
• Poster size must not exceed 60 x 40 inches.
• Printed copies of the abstract should be brought along.
• Poster presentations will be timed and should not be over 2 minutes in length.
• No honoraria or travel expense reimbursement will be provided.
• Poster presenters are welcome to attend the conference lectures.
• Presenters must be available during designated Poster Presentation times to engage with interested individuals in the Exhibit Hall.

Poster Presentation Awards

Recognition and a financial award will be given to the top outstanding posters.
